Advisory Council

The YP Executive Council is a team of dedicated members who go above and beyond to help our organization grow, evolve, and thrive. These leaders volunteer their time and talents to plan, enhance, and shape the future of our programming.

The council meets monthly to discuss the issues and opportunities facing young professionals today and works collaboratively to address them through events, initiatives, and community partnerships. Each member brings unique strengths in areas such as fostering connections, event planning, leadership development, community engagement, advocacy, and public service.

Together, this group plays an essential role in planning YPJC’s calendar of events and creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where every member feels valued and inspired to get involved.

Requirements of the Council:

• Be an active, paying member of YPJC for at least 6 months prior to application.
• Attend monthly planning meetings on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.
• “Work” one YP event per month (ex: set-up, check-in, more than simply attending the event)
• Act as the “content expert” for one of our 2026 newsletters.
• Always be looking for opportunities to grow the YP program!
• Time commitment is approx: 2-6 hours per month.
